HUMAYUN – is a public non-governmental organization founded by a group of dedicated physicians and social workers with a stated goal of improving the health of an underserved segment of the population in Azerbaijan, people with chronic mental disorders or physical, and intellectual impairments who are not capable sustainable self-care. HUMAYUN is developing a social inclusive project, a network model for Residential Therapeutic Community centers.

Yurdum – Social Eco Village

Yurdum Social Eco Village is a residential social therapeutic center and micro-community where adults with special needs, aged 18 and over, can live, learn, and grow together. Yurdum offers more than rehabilitation—it provides a supportive home environment that nurtures self-confidence, social skills, and meaningful connections. Through shared work, creative activities, and community life, residents are empowered to discover their abilities, contribute to daily life, and take steps toward fuller integration into society.

The project, which operates as a daytime center, is implemented by HUMAYUN NGO and is supported by the Social Services Agency.
